We’re inviting you to help us make this Christmas extra magical! Join the festive fun at the 5th Annual Tara Christmas Tree Expo, hosted by the Tara Local Ambulance Committee and proudly sponsored by the Marmadua Energy Park (Cubico). Everyone is encouraged to enter – whether you’re a crafty club, a spirited school, a festive family or a creative business!
What Can You Enter?
- An Alternative Christmas Tree
Think outside the pine! Your tree can be any size, shape, colour, or theme – just make it festive and uniquely you. Represent your group with colours, materials, or ideas that showcase your style and spirit. - Festive Table Centrepiece
Make a one-of-a-kind tabletop creation! Maximum height is 40cm, but beyond that? The sky’s the limit. Use any style or materials you love.
How Entries Will Be Judged
- Trees will be voted on by the public. The tree with the most votes (and gold coin donations) will be the winner. All funds raised from votes go to support the Tara Local Ambulance Service.
- Centrepieces will be judged by a panel of very merry experts.

Alternative Christmas Tree
- 1st Place: $300
- 2nd Place: $200
- 3rd Place: $100
Festive Table Centrepiece
- 1st Place: $150
- 2nd Place: $100
- 3rd Place: $50
Winners will be announced during the Tara Community Christmas Celebration at the Tara Showgrounds on Saturday 13th December.

- Where: Tara Memorial Hall
- When: Monday 8th – Friday 12th December
- Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. daily
- Set Up: Sunday 7th December (afternoon)
- Pack Down: will take place Friday 12th December (afternoon)

- All entries must be respectful and family friendly.
- Judges reserve the right to remove any entry that doesn’t align with the event’s festive and inclusive spirit.
